Thank you for visiting! Before the age of five, I was drawing and have continued to do so throughout my life. I have experimented with everything from pen and ink, acrylic and oil painting to handcrafted bird houses. Late in the middle of life, I began to toy with the idea of taking the skills I have been blessed with more seriously. It is my hope that my efforts to hone the skills I have and my efforts to learn new skills will be evident and appreciated. Creating art brings me an inner peace and joy that I cannot explain. If someone else is able to experience a bit of this peace and joy from the art I create, then I have accomplished something.
My professional experiences in the industry are limited to a few exhibits with the Caldwell Arts Council, and a few local venues. Various pieces have sold over my life and have included private contracted work. My journey in art began for me when very early in life, I received a scholarship to John C. Campbell Folk School.
As my experience expands, I will be adding newer pieces of work, so please check back often!
"When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up; I wrote down "happy". They told me I didn't understand the assignment and I told them they didn't understand life."
